Pura Vida's payday

PURA Vida Energy and Freeport-McMoRan have struck a settlement over the US copper giant's decision not to drill a second wildcat well in Moroccan waters that will give the Perth-based junior a cash injection and the unused drilling equipment.

Pura Vida’s casing has now been shipped to Port Gentil, Gabon.

Pura Vida said this morning that Freeport has agreed to pay a total of around $A9.4 million, including the earlier $US1.5 million, and transfer the title for some 2376 tonnes of drilling equipment...
