Ichthys avoids further delay

TOTAL has confirmed the Ichthys project is due to start in the first quarter of 2018 after the project avoided being impacted by six deaths and more than 20 injuries on the Martin Linge development in the Geoje shipyard in South Korea on May 1.

The deaths and injuries occurred after a crane collapsed onto a section of the platform that was under construction at Samsung Heavy Industries' yard, affecting delivery of the platform for Martin Linge....
