Skyland keen on Russian expansion

SKYLAND Petroleum, one of the newest oil and gas concerns on the Australian bourse, has successfully completed its due diligence on the Mirninsky licence in Russia's Sakha (Yakutia) Republic, and is keen to go ahead with the company-making purchase.

The company, which has an agreement to buy the block from Russian firm YATEC, has agreed to pay $US100 million ($A132 million) for Mirninsky, which has independently assessed P50 reserves of 76.8 million...
