Government backing hydrogen

IT was a happy time for hydrogen today as Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull announced an initiative with AGL Energy and Japan’s Kawasaki Heavy Industries to use the Loy Yang power station in Victoria’s Latrobe Valley to extract hydrogen from brown coal.
