ANOTHER report has emerged revealing the strength of investment in the energy sector, with figures showing a 28% increase quarter on quarter.

The latest Energy Industry Council's EIC Monitor shows the estimated investment value of new projects announced during quarter two has risen to $US342 billion ($A373b).
