Earnings down for Chevron

CHEVRON has reported full year 2013 earnings of $US21.4 billion ($A24.4 billion), down 18% from the $26.2 billion it reported in 2012.

Net income for the fourth quarter was $4.9 billion, down from the $7.2 billion the company reported in the 2012 fourth quarter.
