United Group wins $38m Woodside contract

The $34 million contract comprises of mechanical erection work on Woodside's onshore trunkline terminal and fabrication of associated pipe spools.

Work is scheduled to start at the end of January and to be completed in late November 2003. The contract will provide work for an additional 290 people at peak times.

United Group Chief Executive Richard Leupen said the company's total order book now stands at a record of more than $2.3 billion, double the figure for June 2002.
