Amity Oil Limited has appointed Howard McLaughlin as managing director. McLaughlin has 25 years experience in the petroleum industry, of which the last 20 years has been working with BHPBilliton Petroleum (BHP), most recently as Vice President Global Exploration, based in Houston.

Keith Stamm has resigned as a director of Alinta, subsequently Paul Perkin's appointment as Mr Stamm's alternate director has terminated. The appointment of Robert Holzwarth as an alternate director of Tim Healey has also been terminated.

Robert Browning, Philip Garling, Peter Lowe, Mervyn Peacock and Jack Rich have been appointed as directors of UEL.
