Oil Search Limited has announced the final conversion of its Converting Preference Share 2000 (CPS 2000) will occur on the 14th of May 2003.
The CPS 2000 converted into ordinary shares in two stages, on the second and third anniversary's of the issue date, unless converted earlier, with the first conversion having occurred on the 10 May 2002. Details of the final dividend will be announced on April 28, 2003.
New ordinary shares will also be issued on the 14th May pursuant to the conversion calculation as set out in the prospectus.
