Indian access to energy to dominate regional conference

The India-Central Asia Regional Conference, to be held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on 6-8 November is...

According to the director of India's Institute of Defence Studies and Analysis (IDSA), K. Santhanam, "the security scenario will be shorn of its military aspects, but embellished with economic issues." The main thrust of the conference this year will be India's access to Central Asia's oil and gas.

The conference is the brainchild of the IDSA, which also organising the event.
