Under the terms of the pact, the three companies would cooperate and conduct joint development projects in the three countries. Oil and gas blocks in Vietnam and an oil field in Sarawak have already been looked into and now is the turn of the Nona field in Indonesia.
Should everything go according to plan, Pertamina will hold a 40% stake in the block. Petronas and Petrovietnam would each have equal share of the balance.
