Petronet to sell share to Qatari company

India's Petronet LNG consortium is to have 10% of its stake bought up by a joint venture company ...

M.L. Cessna, the chief executive of Exxon-Mobile Gas (India) Pvt Ltd, confirmed that RasGas was "in talks to buy a 10% stake in India's state-owned Petronet LNG Ltd."

"RasGas has been offered a 10% stake and the board of RasGas is looking into the matter," he added. He also confirmed that RasGas had completed the due diligence and the decision on the matter would be made over the next few weeks.

Exxon Mobil's share of the RasGas JV is 30%.
