SBSWPCL can currently manufacture 120,000 tons of spiral submerged-arc welded pipes. The company can increase production when additional production lines at its facility become operational.

In an interview with the China Daily newspaper the president of the of China Petroleum Material and Equipment Corp (CPMEC), Wong Tao, said, “The joint venture company has so far received more than 20,000 tons worth of orders from domestic and international customers, including 15,000 tons from Sudan.”

“We will expand exports as much as possible, tapping every possible market including Malaysia,” added Wang.
