The two-day forum intends to address the latest regulatory issues, the fresh challenges, the investment opportunities, and the insights into where the Thai utility sector will be heading towards amidst its current restructuring process. This will be conveyed through presentations, interactive panel sessions, and informal discussions between delegates.

As a result, Thai Power 2004 is an ideal place for Presidents/CEOs, MDs, GMs, Business Development Directors, Managers, Corporate Legal Advisors and others attached to the utility, energy and service sectors, amongst others, to see what lies ahead for Thailand’s power sector and provides an ideal opportunity for networking potential.

The keynote speaker will be Thailand’s Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Energy Cherdpong Siriwit. Other speakers and panellists include Dr Weerawat Chantanakome of the ASEAN Centre for Energy, Mark Hutchinson of Merrill Lynch (Asia Pacific), Kraisi Karnasuta of the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand, Dr Chitrapongse Kwangsukstith of PTT PCL and William Machold of WDM Energy Group Inc.
