Halliburton unit lands Petronas award

Halliburton was the sole winner of the award from hundreds of companies in both the upstream and downstream sectors all around the world, following a thorough two-month screening process by a Petronas Review team.

In a statement Halliburton Vice President Southeast Asia Will Fortenberry said, “We are very excited and pleased to accept this award. This type of award from our customers is validation of our commitment to providing quality service while protecting the health, safety, and environment of our employees and customers.”

Fortenberry’s sentiments were echoed by Halliburton Malaysia MD Rao Abdullah, who also thanked his staff for helping the subsidiary win the coveted award.

“This award is part of Halliburton Malaysia’s ongoing outstanding HSE achievements. In 2004, we completed 14 years without a lost-time incident (LTI), a great achievement for one of the busiest countries in our Asia Pacific operations,” said Rao.
