In a statement Pertamina Deputy Director Rachmat Derajat said, “The shutdown is expected to take around 21 days [and] Pertamina has secured fuel products from a supplier to meet supply shortages caused by the turnaround so that [we] won’t need to seek a crude processing deal.”

“The unit processes 50,000 barrels a day of crude into fuel products, lubricant and asphalt,” added Rachmat without elaborating further.
