Caspian subsidiary about to begin Kyrgyz seismic

The seismic program will provide structural information on a number of “deeper” targets on the Ak-Bura, Charvak and Ashvaz licences. These targets range in depth from 1.5km to 3.5km and cover a number of potential reservoirs ranging from Tertiary age limestones and clastics to Mesozoic age clastics.

Negotiations with the preferred seismic contractor are at an advanced stage and subject to completing those negotiations and funding arrangements, a US$1.5 million program could commence in March or April. The company said it was also holding discussions with potential farmin partners.
