Aker wins Malaysian subsea contract

AKER Solutions has sewn up a contract with Murphy Sabah Oil to deliver a subsea production system for the Kikeh subsea expansion project off the coast of Malaysia for an undisclosed sum.

The work will include the delivery of deepwater oil production equipment such as subsea trees, control modules, distribution systems and manifolds that will be installed in a water depth of 1350 metres....
