Octanex pulls out of Peak takeover

MELBOURNE-based Octanex's takeover of Perth's Peak Oil & Gas has fallen through, but the companies remain on good terms with Octanex saying it "remains supportive" of Peak's endeavours.

Octanex withdrew its application to the Supreme Court for orders to convene meetings of Peak members and option holders to approve entering into schemes of arrangement that would see Peak merged into Octanex....
