SOUTH Korea is joining Singapore and Japan in the LNG bunkering race as state-run Kogas pushes plans to increase bunkering capacity via collaboration with Shell and Japan’s Mitsui.

Kogas looking to IMO regulations to increase demand for commodity as global shipping fuel 

The company bunkers its LNG at its own Pyeongtaek and Tongyeong terminals using tank trucks and will complete a bunkering ship by the end of 2019.
