GLOBAL rising LNG consumption may see a slump from North Asian legacy buyer Japan as it switches back on more of its nuclear plants seven years after the Fukushima disaster that saw shuttering of plants amid regulatory overhaul, and public distrust.

Japan's nuclear power coming back online

Nuclear output is set for its highest level since the event March 2011 with two reactors generating 1760 megawatts back online.
