IRC said Burke joins the Perth office after serving as head of safety with Atkins Process in Scotland. Burke is a qualified engineer with over 20 years experience in the construction, mining, nuclear, defence, petrochemical and oil and gas industries.

IRC's rapidly expanding Houston office has also appointed a new technical director for safety and risk. Glenn Cooke is a qualified engineer with extensive experience in the North Sea oil and gas industry.

IRC provides services in environment, safety and risk, engineering, e-commerce, IT, health and pyschology from its offices in Houston and Perth.
