Prominent oil & gas recruitment companies Roxar and Atria are among those firms who use the 'back office' platform developed by Oilcareers.com since its UK launch 3 years ago, to improve their efficiencies and access a larger number of candidates than they would otherwise reach.

The recruitment firms also hope to make significant advertising savings through a highly targetted service,

"In addition to a site which boasts an impressive candidate base, the team behind Oilcareers.com has impressed us with their professionalism, passion and commitment to offering the very best possible service," said Christine Pennefather of Worley, one of the shareholders in Atria Recruitment.

Vesna Sarich of Roxar Recruitment said the site had already made a big impact, with 60 suitable applicants for a very specific vacancy recently in West Africa, where her normal channels had yielded only a handful of candidates.

She said it had been difficult to find a recruitment web site which could be self managed, and which she could make changes to without depending on outside contractors. The ability to instantly notify and respond to candidates is another advantage of the application handling system within the website.

The global scale of Oilcareers.com is also appealing to Roxar. "We're growing our business into south east Asia, not just Australia and New Zealand, and Oilcareers.com can help us there.

"It is the simplest, most professional and cost effective solution I have found," she said.
