TMS boss moves up inside Integrated

Integrated Group (IGL) has combined its mining and offshore businesses into one division and has promoted Dion Smith, general manager of subsidiary Total Marine Services, to head up the new division as general manager, resources.

TMS boss moves up inside Integrated

John Flood, who joined the Integrated Group earlier this year after senior positions with the Australian Mines and Metals Association, will replace Smith at Total Marine.

IGL said establishment of the resources division unifies Integrated’s mining and offshore oil and gas arms, which previously operated as separate entities.

“This new resources division will capture the natural synergies between our offshore and land-based operations in oil, gas and mining,” said IGL managing director, Jon Whittle.

“Dion has developed Total Marine as the quality provider of crews and support services to the offshore oil and gas industry with new vessels and additional staff.

“John’s experience, relationships and practical understanding – especially in oil and gas – has enhanced Integrated’s ability to meet the demands of resource companies – onshore and off.”
