An 11-metre hydrocarbon column with eight metres of gas overlying a three-metre oil leg was discovered in the reservoir sandstones of the target Flag Sandstone. But the reservior was deemed too small for commercial development.
The partners are now perparing to drill the Kultarr-1 well in nearby WA-334-P. The Harriet joint venture is Apache Northwest (68.5%), Kufpec Australia (19%) and Tap Oil (12%).
