Petroleum is a new business magazine aimed at giving industry professionals high quality, analytical coverage of the latest upstream oil and gas developments.

Leveraged off its online sibling, EnergyReview.net, Petroleum will cover industry projects and issues in greater depth than that provided by the mainstream media.

In addition to its coverage of oil and gas majors, midcaps and juniors, Petroleum will also deliver stories by leading industry writers, including Rick Wilkinson, Stephen Bell and Tim Treadgold,as well as Energy Review.net columnist Slugcatcher.

This issue provides an in-depth LNG feature and articles on projects and trends in the Australian and Asia-Pacific oil patches, as well as stories on Australian companies operating in the US and Africa.

Petroleum will be produced on a bi-monthly basis this year, with issues released in July, September and November. From January next year, the magazine will be published monthly.

Petroleum's first issue coincides with the Excellence in Upstream Energy conference in Sydney, run by Resourceful Events, a division of Aspermont on July 31 and August 1.
