The SPT project is a potential new world-scale steam-cracking complex at ExxonMobil’s refining and chemical plant site in Singapore. If it goes ahead, the project would include an ethylene cracker and downstream plants for the production of ethylene and propylene derivatives.

Worley was awarded the contract, the value of which was not disclosed, in partnership with global engineering company Foster Wheeler.

Under the contract, the team will provide FEED work for certain downstream units and associated plant infrastructure for the project.
