Black Fire is farming-in to three Empire Oil & Gas-operated onshore Western Australian petroleum permits by contributing to the cost of a well in each permit.
Its first well, Parrot Hill-2 (in which Black Fire holds a 10% stake) in Carnarvon Basin permit EP 435, came up dry.
Another well, Moriary-1 (in which Black Fire has a 10% stake) in Perth Basin permit EP 426, is expected to spud in the second quarter with a third, Lake Macleod-1 (in which Black Fire owns a 7.5% interest), in Carnarvon Basin permit EP 439, to follow in the second half of the year.
