The Macquarie’s fourth edition now on sale defines “geosequestration” as a noun, and defines it as “the storing of carbon dioxide removed from gas emissions and compressed to a liquid state in sites deep underground where it reacts with saline water to form non-reactive salts”.

The definition now also appears in the dictionary’s online version.
