The offshore work includes installation of subsea manifolds, valve structures, umbilicals, a mono-ethylene glycol injection line and pipeline stabilisation, as well as the tie-in of flowlines in water depths of up to 850m.
Engineering work began in April last year, while offshore installation by specialist dive support-installation vessel Toisa Proteus is scheduled to begin in the second half of 2009.
Meanwhile, Acergy has also secured a $195 million engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning contract from EnCana Corporation for sub-sea construction, umbilicals, risers and flowlines (SURF) work on the Deep Panuke field in Canada.
The contract is for the installation, burial and tie in of around 17km of 8-inch infield flowlines and umbilicals to four production wells, as well as an acid gas disposal flowline connecting to a centrally located floating production unit.
Work by offshore construction vessels the Acergy Falcon and the Acergy Discovery is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2010.
