Conoco, Karoon wrap-up Browse Basin seismic

Karoon told the market yesterday that the 1400-square-kilometre Endurance survey, shot by the Geo Atlantic seismic vessel, was being processed for interpretation later this year.

As part of the survey, an additional 500sq.km outside the permit boundary was also covered.

3D seismic data acquired during this survey is aimed at improving the definition of several leads identified in the WA-398-P permit during pre-gazettal award investigation.

Karoon acquired 40% interest in WA-398-P last May, adding to the company's interests in the nearby WA-314-P and WA-315-P blocks.

ConocoPhillips is operator and holds the remaining 60% stake inWA-398-P.
