AMEC takes Zektin

INTERNATIONAL engineering and project management company AMEC has agreed to buy Australia-based resources engineering consultancy Zektingroup for $37 million, with potential for another $11 million in deferred payments.

Zektin is a 200-person firm that provides front-end engineering design and engineering services to the oil and gas market, particularly the coal seam gas sector.
