Mobilarm secures Apache sale

APACHE Energy has purchased an initial 35 VHF locator beacons from Mobilarm for personnel undertaking scheduled maintenance on the normally unmanned Reindeer wellhead platform in the North West Shelf.

Mobilarm, which recently supplied 50 units to Bristow Helicopters Australia, the sole contractor to BHP Billiton, says the sale validates the VHF locator as one of the world's leading man overboard technologies....
