Chubu to buy gas from BG Group

CHUBU Electric has signed a 21-year sales and purchase agreement with BG Group for liquefied natural gas from its global portfolio, including BG's Queensland Curtis LNG project.

The Japanese utility will purchase up to 122 cargoes starting in 2014.
