KEY Petroleum still believes its acquisition of Zeta Petroleum is the way to growth and remains optimistic the private company will reach a new farm-in deal with Cooper Energy that benefits Key shareholders.

Earlier this year, Key announced it planned to acquire UK private company Zeta for an initial consideration of $12.7 million and offered three board positions to key Zeta personnel.
