Resources contracts create 108,000 WA jobs

THE Western Australian government's Local Content report has shown that more than 108,000 jobs have been created over the past two years via the awarding of more than $A43 billion in resource supply contracts.

Commerce Minister Michael Mischin said the report, tabled in parliament today, showed that local content for the construction of projects was around 77%.
