PTTEP's government agreement ends

THE Australian government has ended its deed agreement with Montara developer PTTEP Australasia following three years of monitoring and consultation.

News of the agreement's finish comes just after PTTEP AA announced that first oil production had begun from the field that was hit by Australia's largest ever oil spill in 2009.
