Woodside looks to little guy

PERTH-based software company Saleem Technologies is set to provide its Track'em software solution to aid the Project Echo initiative between Woodside and Curtin University.

The software tracks construction materials in mining, oil and gas projects, as well as larger-scale engineering and work projects.

This makes it useful for Project Echo, which is aimed at using leading-edge technology to improve productivity and performance in LNG project construction.

Saleem Technologies has previously won contracts with the likes of Chevron for its Gorgon project and Worley Parsons, but CEO Kashif Saleem still sees this latest deal as huge for the company.

"We are very excited to be contributing to this innovative project," he said.

"It is a huge step forward for our small company."
