Drillsearch achieves early results

DRILLSEARCH has encountered encouraging results from the first of five wells being drilled as part of a new campaign in the PEL 91 permit of the Cooper Basin.

The Chiton-3 well was drilled to appraise the northern extent of the Chiton field, where it encountered 3.5m of oil trapped within the Namur Sandstone and a further 3m within the McKinlay Member.
