Another win for GR Engineering

GR ENGINEERING Services has won a second master services agreement with Origin Energy for the Australia Pacific LNG project.

Another win for GR Engineering

The company will provide scheduled and unscheduled well site maintenance and associated services over a two-year term through its upstream production solutions business.

Work has already begun on the first service order issued under the renewed MSA, with a value of $2.5 million.

Origin said recently that APLNG was well on track to deliver first LNG in mid-2015, with the upstream section of the project currently at about 76% completion while the downstream section sat at about 75%.

During the last quarter, 141 phase 1 development wells were drilled, bringing the total to 821, while the Condabri central train 1 gas processing facility was commissioned.

"The award is consistent with our diversification strategy and demonstrates the potential of Upstream PS to develop and grow the business with leading oil and gas producers," GR managing director Geoff Jones said.
