BEACH Energy has confirmed the presence of an oil pay zone at the Kalladeina-2 well, which is targeting the McKinlay-Namur formation in the Cooper Basin.

The well has been cased and suspended as an oil discovery and future oil producer. The exploration well found a net oil column of 4m in the McKinlay sandstone and a 1m net oil column in the Namur sandstone....
