IEA says the worst may be behind the oil market

THE International Energy Agency has revised its global oil demand up slightly, saying the worst demand destruction of the first half of the year could be behind us, however the accelerating number of COVID-19 cases in some countries suggests a measure of caution could be wise.

The agency said in its July outlook demand is expected to fall by 7.9 million barrels per day in 2020 and recover by 5.
