WestSide, Anglo JV in Meridian deal

WESTSIDE Corporation and a joint venture between Anglo American and Mitsui have signed off on a deal that will allow the coal miner early access to land near the Dawson coal mine in Queensland as WestSide shuts off the lateral ends of five legacy wells in the area.

Under a co-development agreement , WestSide has the right to extract gas before the expansion of mining into the area. However the new deal will allow Anglo-American and Mitsui into the new 0.8km2 area...
