Eni and Tap surrender Bonaparte permit

ITALIAN oil giant and its Australian junior joint venture partner Tap Oil have officially surrendered a retention lease in the Bonaparte Basin, offshore Western Australia, putting an end to hopes of developing the Prometheus and Rubicon gas fields.
