Exxon production down, expects big returns from Guyana

US SUPERMAJOR ExxonMobil announced earnings of US$4.7 billion in its June quarterly, compared to the US$1.1 billion loss it endured in the same quarter last year at the height of the pandemic, as well as declaring a cash dividend of 8.7c per share for this quarter.

The US$4.7 billion figure compares to the previous quarter's $2.73 billion. Capital and exploration expenditure for the quarter came to $3.8 billion, compared to the previous quarter's $650 million. ...
