Completions begin onsite Jewell

STONEHORSE Energy and Brookside Energy said today their Jewell 1-13-12 SXH well in Oklahoma is undergoing completion works after the arrival of Liberty Oilfield Services staff and equipment on the project site over the weekend.

They say Liberty is conducting further works on a DCP Midstream LP sales line, in an ongoing project that sees the two work towards a plan for over 20 producing wells. 

Multi-stage fraccing of the lateral portion of the well will begin soon.

The acreage in the Anadarko Basin in Oklahoma within the geologically significant Sycamore-Woodford trend, part of the SCOOP play within the larger SWISH area.  

The unrisked resource best estimate is 11.6 million barrels of oil equivalent.

Stonehorse announced in July that Liberty, America's second largest oilfield services player, had been awarded the master contract to carry out completion works. 

Brookside announced brokers CPS Capital had raised $9 million for the 20 well campaign late last week. 

Stonehorse shares are up 3.8% at 2.7c, Brookside shares up 3.2% at 3.2c.
