Beetaloo "critically important" to NT government

THE new chief minister in the Northern Territory Natasha Fyles and her deputy Nicole Manison have declared oil and gas exploration and development Beetaloo Sub-basin "critically important" to the future of Australia.

 Mines and industry minister Nicole Manison said the NT government had been in lengthy discussions about the importance of the Beetaloo Basin for the Territory economy and energy security.
