THE Perth Basin joint venture exploring the West Erregulla gas field has restarted drilling of the troubled WE-3 well in exploration permit EP469.

  Warrego and Strike own the permit in a 50-50 split and while drilling the well encountered abnormal overpressured gas in the Caryngina Formation.  This meant the well was suspended in January....
