Egypt poised to help develop offshore Gaza gas fields

EGYPT is aiming to take over development of Gaza's offshore natural gas field, Reuters reported yesterday, citing Egyptian and Palestinian officials, adding it would be a boost for the cash-strapped Palestinian economy.
