Equinor, Shell to ink key US$40 bn LNG-project accords with Tanzania

TANZANIA will sign key agreements with oil majors including Norwegian gas major Equinor and UK-based Shell, the world's largest LNG player, next month to pave the way for a planned US$40 billion LNG export project, the nation's Energy Minister January Makamba said on Tuesday.
